Buzz is as buzz does, and if Endgadget's endorsement of the RCA Airnergy power system is any indication, than the buzz is for real on this particular product. And by for real I mean could really impact how we as consumers manage energy on the go. Think about how much electricity you burn via electronics in your home, car, office, etc. Now imagine a gadget the size of a cell phone that harnesses energy via WiFi signals, with no connector cords or plug-ins required. Heck, you don't even have to connect to an actual network, just be in the right place (as in a place with WiFi capabilities) and you're hooked in.
In the form of a dongle (connectors that translate one type of port to another), theAirnergy power system could eliminate the need for bulky power units or multiple chargers for multiple gadgets. And with RCA hinting at a possible technology integration with cell phone batteries ... well the possibilities grow exponentially.
