What gives you hope for a better planet? If you ask the UN, they may respond with a request to Tweet your answer versus belting it across rolling green hills or writing your local politician. In an effort to raise awareness for world leaders attending the UN Climate Change Conference, Hopenhagen was born.
As 192 countries meet in Copenhagen this December, the UN is giving you the opportunity to make your voice heard on climate change. Thus far 4,673 messages have posted on the site. Now, I'm not suggesting, nor would I imagine is the UN, that tweeting on what gives you hope for a better planet will necessarily move mountains and change hearts and minds, but the concept is certainly intriguing. Maybe a small movement is starting?
